Do I need to hire anyone else to get my project built?
Different sorts of projects require different types of design and construction teams. For the simplest of residential projects, all you will need is an architect (that's us) and a qualified general contractor. On larger, more complex projects, we will build a team of professionals appropriate to the project. This can include a civil engineer, structural engineer, interior designer, landscape architect, lighting designer, etc. And while we don't actually build your project ourselves, we can help you find and qualify a great general contractor who will.
How long does the design process typically take?
Naturally, this depends upon the scale and complexity of the project. However, there are many other factors, including the nature of the permitting process in your particular jurisdiction. Planning permissions in parts of California can take up to a year. Most projects take anywhere from a few months to a year to design and permit.
Do you just design private homes?
No, we design everything from private residences and multi-family housing projects to offices and resorts, and everything in between. With over 20M square feet of built construction under our belts, there's almost nothing we haven't designed.
